This Entrepreneur Is Bringing Tech Education To Girls Of Color

When Khalia was in fourth grade, her mother offered to buy her a computer. From that moment, she was instantly hooked. As a result of her early interest in tech, she enrolled in a tech-focused, public high school and fell in love with computer programming. Naturally, the North Carolina native enrolled in an undergraduate program in computer science, a masters program in information technology and ultimately started her career at Apple as a User Experience Engineer in Silicon Valley.
